AHG Code of Conduct

The Arsenault Hockey Group (AHG) is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all individuals involved in our hockey community. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral expectations and standards we uphold to ensure the well-being, integrity, and enjoyment of all people involved - players, parents, fans, staff, volunteers and others. By participating in any activities as a representative of AHG, you agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct, demonstrating a commitment to the values and principles that underpin our organization.

  1. Respect and Fairness
  2. Treat all members of the AHG community with respect and fairness, regardless of their role, position, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. Discriminatory or disrespectful behavior is strictly prohibited.

  3. Integrity and Honesty
  4. Act with integrity and honesty in all interactions within the AHG community. Uphold the highest ethical standards, avoiding any form of dishonesty, cheating, or unethical behavior. Confidentiality and privacy must be maintained.

  5. Sportsmanship
  6. Embrace the values of fair play, sportsmanship, and respect for the rules of the game. Display good sportsmanship by accepting victories with humility and defeats with grace. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.

  7. Safety and Well-being
  8. Prioritize the safety and well-being of all AHG members. Adhere to safety guidelines, rules, and regulations related to equipment, training, and game play. Promptly report any concerns or incidents that may compromise safety or well-being.

  9. Inclusivity and Diversity
  10. Embrace and celebrate diversity within the AHG community. Create an inclusive environment that values and respects individuals from different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Actively work towards eliminating discrimination, bias, and barriers to inclusivity.

  11. Professionalism
  12. Conduct oneself in a professional manner, representing AHG positively in all settings. Uphold a high standard of behavior both on and off the ice, refraining from activities that may bring disrepute to AHG or its members.

  14. Resolve conflicts and disagreements in a respectful and constructive manner. Communicate openly and honestly, seeking understanding and compromise. Avoid personal attacks or spreading rumors that may escalate conflicts.

  15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
  16. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, both within AHG and the broader community. Report any suspected violations promptly to the appropriate authorities.

  18. Strive for personal and collective growth, learning, and improvement within AHG. Encourage feedback, suggestions, and ideas to enhance the AHG experience. Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive AHG community.

Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary actions, as determined by the AHG management, including warnings, suspensions, or permanent expulsion from AHG.
